You need to download a six-year plan from the www.wctechprep.net website, which outlines the suggested courses to take in high school, as well as a sample degree plan for the Weatherford College Associate of Applied Science degree.

FRESHMEN AND SOPHOMORES:
If you are freshman or sophomore, this is an excellent time to explore and choose your career path. In some schools, you will need to wait until you are a junior to take your first college-equivalent high school course. This is because college professors want to know that you took their equivalent courses recently, and that you remember the course content and can apply it to other related courses. If this is the case at your school, you may want to start taking some of the recommended courses listed on the six-year plan, especially any courses which are prerequisites to the courses which will eventually transfer to Weatherford College. At other schools, sophomores may be allowed to begin taking Tech Prep courses which will qualify for college credit later, provided you remain in a Tech Prep program during your junior and senior years in high school. In either case, take your six-year plan with you any time you are going to register for new classes, so that you will be placed in the appropriate classes. Also, take your six-year plan with you any time you need to discuss Tech Prep with your high school counselor.

JUNIORS AND SENIORS: If you are a junior or senior, you are eligible to take the college-equivalent high school courses. You may need to take a prerequisite course before you can take the course which will qualify for college credit-check on this. Take your six-year plan with you any time you are going to register for new classes, so that you will be placed in the appropriate classes. Also, take your six-year plan with you any time you need to discuss Tech Prep with your high school counselor.
